Using FocalPoints unique licensing platform the Design Owner can license its unique CL design to other FocalPoints users around the world securely. Our seamless integration with the most used Lathe brands facilitates the licensing and the manufacturing process. The Design Owner Toolkit is the module that allows the Design Owner to protect its CL designs and issue a License to the Manufacturing Lab.
Once a CL is developed in FocalPoints, its design can be distributed to any other FocalPoints user in a secure encrypted file with the Design Owner Toolkit. The Design Owner can set the duration of the License and decide which elements of the CL design can be seen by the Licensee. In order to protect a design and issue a License, one must have the Design Owner Toolkit, which assigns to the Licensor an unique Owner Code, defines the list of protected Classes, defines the visualisation criteria, enables the protection and finally issues the design license to the Licensor.
