We have been working with FP MFG since 2015 to manufacture lenses licensed by other laboratories. In 2023, after some internal changes, we decided to invest in the complete FP platform. In addition to the improvements and enhancement of our designs that FP Design allowed, FP Quick Order enabled an interaction between ERP, FP, and Lathes that streamlined the process of generating POs and manufacturing the lenses. As a result, we gained flexibility in the use of lathes and achieved a significant productivity boost due to the reduced time for entering production orders, as well as a quality improvement in our lenses. REM Vision Tech is constantly looking to develop different solutions that help our industry to grow and achieve better results. In this search, the opportunity arose in 2022 to collaborate with our friends of Advance Medical on the development of an automatic laser for the engraving of contact lenses. We fell in love with this project from the very beginning as we were absolutely aware of the importance that such equipment could have for all our customers. We hope that many laboratories can benefit from our LML 1000 laser, which allows fast, precise and repetitive marking of the lenses in a station independent of the lathing stage.
